Hiroshi Yoshimura
Music For Nine Post Cards

★★★½

An album of the Eno "ambient" sorts. You can pay attention or let it serve as background music. And a lot of this is easily recognizable as being influenced by albums like "Music For Airports". I really do also think that this is just as good, if not better than that album. It just contains some of the same flaws as that album, the unwelcome repetitiveness and proper lack of space through silence. Very much of it reminds me of just staring outside watching life pass, and it's peaceful and calming in that regard. Just another reminder: Japan usually does it better.
